Full-Time Position – India
The Finance Associate will be responsible for assisting the Finance Director/Executive Team in the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role will be managing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager in managing the company’s financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and vendor payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Analyze and interpret financial data and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (Domestic & International)
- Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes and procedures are followed and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Decent knowledge and exposure with respect to Auditing & Taxation (Domestic & International)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Chartered Accountants would be an additional advantage
- 2+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
